My love of photography began as a child. I constantly borrowed my sister’s digital camera and was reluctant to return it. I loved capturing those little details in the backyard that I thought other people didn't notice. Throughout school, I developed a love for both art and science; equal parts logical and creative. So, driven by my curiosity, I gravitated towards photographing animals, plants, and the rest of the natural world.
In high school, I caught the travel bug when I took a 2-week language-immersion trip to Germany. I later studied Communication Design at Texas State University, where I studied abroad in Italy for a semester, further fueling my love of travel. I have since traveled to Iceland, China, Mexico, and across the US, capturing my journey along the way.
I've had the opportunity to work for a world-renowned painter and sculptor, whom I helped build, mold, process, paint, frame, and hang sculptures of both wood and stainless steel. As this was a jack-of-all-trades position, I also had the opportunity to photograph some of the works for use online and in renowned publications.
As an infinitely curious person who is always looking for new opportunities and ways to grow, I hope my photography instills some curiosity in you as well.
